5. Statement of conformity
The object of the declaration described in point 4 is in conformity with the relevant Union harmonisation legislation: Regulation (EU) 2025/40 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 December 2024 on packaging and packaging waste (OJ L, 2025/40), in respect of the applicable requirements laid down in or pursuant to Articles 5 to 12.

6. References to relevant harmonised standards or common specifications
No harmonised standards under Article 36 or common specifications under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 have been published for the applicable requirements at the date of this declaration.
Conformity is demonstrated by reference to the analytical methods, test reports, and design criteria contained in the technical documentation (Annex VII).

7. Notified body
Not applicable – Conformity assessment procedure followed is Module A (internal production control) as set out in Annex VII. No notified body was involved.

8. Additional information

  • Applicable requirements as of the date of issue (12 August 2026): 
    • Article 5 (substances of concern, including heavy metals limit ≤ 100 mg/kg sum of Pb + Cd + Hg + Cr(VI); PFAS restrictions not applicable as packaging is not food-contact) 
    • Article 6 (general recyclability requirement) 
    • Articles 7–12: not yet fully applicable or not relevant to this packaging type/format on the date of issue (recycled content, specific minimisation thresholds, full design-for-recycling grades, harmonised labelling, etc., apply later according to the Regulation’s phased application).
  • Evidence of compliance is contained in the technical documentation retained by the manufacturer for 5 years from the date the packaging was placed on the market. 
  • This DoC will be updated if the packaging design, materials, or applicable legal requirements change.
